Terms of Sale

1. Who we are

Cartlyt.net is operated by Cartlyt LLC (Washington, DC, USA). You can reach us at support@cartlyt.com. We build and sell digital products, and we also provide access to the Cartlyt web application at cartlyt.com, which is billed separately under its own terms.

2. How a purchase works

Payments are processed by Link (a Stripe company) acting as merchant of record. Link takes the payment, applies any sales tax or VAT, and issues your payment receipt — which is why the charge appears on your statement as LINK.COM* CARTLYT. The product itself is supplied by Cartlyt LLC, and these terms govern what you may do with it. We never see or store your card details.

3. Delivery and access

Products are delivered digitally, immediately after payment clears. You receive an email containing a permanent access link to what you bought. You are responsible for giving a valid email address at checkout.

Your access link does not expire. If you lose it, you can have it re-sent at any time from Find my purchase. Your order is recorded the moment payment clears, whether or not the email reaches you, so a lost or filtered email never means a lost purchase.

4. What you may do with what you buy

On payment you receive a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to use the product. Specifically, you may:

• Use it for your own purposes, personal or commercial, including for paying clients.
• Modify, adapt and build on it, including changing the branding to your own.
• Install and run it on as many of your own machines or servers as you need.

You may not:

• Resell, redistribute, sublicense or give away the product itself — whether as-is, rebranded, bundled, or as part of a template, theme or course.
• Publish it in whole or in substantial part to a public repository, file-sharing site or marketplace.
• Share your access link so that others can obtain the product without buying it.
• Claim to be the original author of the product.

In short: build whatever you like with it, but do not sell or give away the thing you bought. Cartlyt LLC retains all ownership of the products; you are buying a licence to use them, not the copyright in them. This licence ends if you materially breach it.

5. Requesting a product

If something you need is not in the store, you can ask us to build it. Requests are free and carry no obligation on either side — you owe us nothing for asking, and we do not commit to building any particular request or to a timescale. If we do build it, we will email you when it is listed, and you can then decide whether to buy it at the listed price.

Anything we create in response to a request is designed, built and owned by Cartlyt LLC and is sold to everyone through the store. Submitting a request does not make you a commissioner, co-author or owner of the resulting product, and does not entitle you to it for free or to exclusivity. Do not send us confidential information or anything that infringes someone else's rights.

6. Try before you buy

Where a product has a free demo, that demo is the complete application — every feature works, and the only difference is that exported files carry a watermark. The demo exists so you can fully evaluate the product before paying. Please use it: it is the fairest way for both of us, and it is why our refund terms are firm. See the Refund Policy.

7. Refunds

Digital products are delivered instantly and cannot be returned, so sales are final once a product has been delivered. Where a product is faulty or materially not as described, we will repair or replace it — the full terms, including time limits, are in the Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

8. Acceptable use

Do not use our products or this site to break the law, infringe anyone's rights, send spam, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or another customer's purchases. We may withdraw access and refuse future sales where these terms are breached.

9. What we promise, and what we don't

We take real care with what we build, and each product is reviewed before it is listed. But products are supplied as is. We do not warrant that a product will be uninterrupted or error-free, that it will meet a requirement we have not described, or that it is suitable for any particular purpose of yours — that is what the demo and the product description are for.

You are responsible for how you use a product, including keeping your own backups and checking that anything you send to your own customers (such as an invoice) is correct.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Cartlyt LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost revenue, lost data or business interruption arising from a product. Our total liability for any claim relating to a product is limited to the amount you paid for that product. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

11. Not professional advice

Money-related products — playbooks, templates, guides — are educational only. They are not financial, investment, legal, accounting or tax advice. Tools that calculate figures (for example tax on an invoice) are aids, not a substitute for professional advice; check the output before relying on it.

12. Your statutory rights

Depending on where you live, consumer law may give you rights that cannot be excluded or limited by a contract. Nothing in these terms affects those rights. Where a term here conflicts with a right you have that cannot be excluded, that right applies.

13. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the version in force is the one published here on the date of your purchase, and the date at the top shows when it last changed. These terms are governed by the laws of the District of Columbia, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your own country.
